Food poisoning hits 299 workers at plant

A TOTAL of 299 workers at a local plant complained of food poisoning symptoms early this morning and were sent to four hospitals for treatment.
Nine patients with severe symptoms were kept for observation, while the rest were discharged after treatment, Qingpu District officials said this afternoon.
The authority is investigation the cause.
