Foreigners pictured enjoying a feast on Metro

FOUR unidentified foreigners put up a table in the middle of a Metro train on Line 11 — that connects to the Shanghai International Circuit — and enjoyed a hearty meal on Friday.
The incident was confirmed by the Metro operator on Monday.
The photo was posted on Weibo by a netizen called “_TCAHILL17.”
The foreigners treated themselves to bread and white wine. The picture triggered criticism on the Internet.
The Metro operator condemned the behavior as impolite.
Commuters are urged not to eat in the Metro though there are no regulations against it. However, the Metro operator said if the table had blocked the movement of commuters or injured others, they could have been fined up to 50 yuan.
