THREE fuel thieves who resisted arrest and crashed into a police officer were sentenced up to 28 months in prison, the Fengxian District People’s Court said yesterday. The trio had stolen more than 800 liters of fuel from tanker trucks over a period of time. While trying to escape, they ran their car into an officer on May 11. After injuring the cop, they ran into a police roadblock. One officer shot the driver in the shoulder.
