RESIDENTS will be able to try their hand at local games which were popular during the 1950s and 1960s on September 13 at Jiuzi Park in Huangpu District. Some 3,000 people including foreign students, local white-collars and firefighters will compete in traditional “alley sports” called Jiuzi — nine different games whose names share the common suffix zi in Chinese. A final will be held on October 17.
