Garbage facility fire rages for 30 hours

A FIRE at a garbage storage facility in suburban Songjiang District was extinguished yesterday after raging for nearly 30 hours.
The blaze broke out at the site at 506 Maixin Highway at 4:49am on Wednesday and was finally put out at about 10am yesterday, the fire department said. No one was injured.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
