Girl, 7, crushed to death in crash with truck

A 7-YEAR-OLD girl was crushed to death when an electric motorcycle she was riding on was knocked down by a cement-mixer truck and the girl along with the female rider fell under the truck’s wheels around 8am this morning.
The accident occurred at the crossing of Liuxiang and Chenxiang roads in Jiading District. The cement mixer was taking a right turn and crashed the motorcycle alongside with a female rider, a 7-year-old girl and a boy about 5 years old on it.
Both the woman and the girl received crushing injuries under the truck when it stopped after moving a few meters.
The girl died on the spot before the police and and ambulance could save her. The woman’s legs were seriously injured and she was sent to Nanxiang Hospital for treatment, while the boy was unhurt.
