Girl accidentally hit by scissors in stable condition

A 10-year-old girl who was badly injured by a pair of scissors accidentally thrown by her father is in stable condition after surgery, said Xin Hua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine yesterday.
The accident happened on Friday night when the girl's father was admonishing her for playing with her brother when she was supposed to be doing her homework. His hand was slippery because he was washing chicken and the scissors flew out of his hand, piercing his daughter’s head and injuring her brain.
