THREE thieves caught in four days in Songjiang University Town all turned out to be college graduates, police said yesterday. One of them, a man surnamed Long, was a law graduate from Donghua University. On March 20, Long walked away with an iPad left behind by a student in a classroom. Surveillance cameras found him wandering around classrooms regularly. He was caught by police on April 12. Long told police he did not commit any theft as the iPad was left at a public place unattended. Police also caught up with two other thieves, also graduates, who stole wallets, bikes and iPads of students.
