鈥楪rudge man鈥 held over bomb threat

A MAN said to have a grudge against city Metro officials has been held by police in connection with calls claiming a bomb would be detonated on Line 2.

The suspect, a 41-year-old surnamed Yang, is said to have called police on Saturday, claiming a friend would trigger an explosion. A second threat was made on Monday morning and police later found Yang, who is said to have alcohol problems, asleep at Century Avenue Station. Officers said last year, Yang fell down stairs at a Metro station while drunk and injured himself. After compensation requests were rejected he made bomb threats to get revenge, according to police.
