Healthy quadruplets born at local hospital

A set of quadruplets, four identical girls, were born in a local maternity hospital by a 29-year-old woman from Jiangxi Province yesterday. All the babies and their mother are in stable condition.

The woman, who has one son and one daughter already, came to the city at 27th week of pregnancy for medical service. She has been kept at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital of Fudan University for inspection and received a cesarean surgery yesterday afternoon.

It is the third quadruplets the hospital has delivered in the past ten years.
