Holiday complaints

AS well as tomb sweeping, many people used the holiday period to moan to the consumer watchdog.

The number of complaints received over the three days rose 11 percent from last year to 202, with online shopping accounting for about 30 percent of them, the Shanghai Industrial and Commercial Administrative Bureau said.

Trips and tours were another popular area, with the major concerns being poor value for money, bad service, misleading advertisements and unhelpful guides.
