Huangpu privileges for innovative talents

HUANGPU District is wooing professionals from outside Shanghai to work in “innovative fields” with offers of local residence permits and other privileges, including schools and medical benefits.
They will also be entitled to special government subsidy, said Chen Yong, deputy director with the district’s department of commerce. The district government yesterday issued 10 new supporting policies for innovative enterprises. They mainly include designing studios and Internet financial companies. The district will also build apartments to accommodate the professionals, Chen said.
