ICS gets prizes at Asian TV Awards
INTERNATIONAL Channel Shanghai (ICS) won three awards at the 17th Asian Television Awards in Singapore. They were among around 40 awards presented on Thursday to TV productions and organizations across Asia.
The program "Culture Matters" won the Best Talk Show Award with the episode called Tiger Mother Amy Chua on the Chinese-American woman whose book says Chinese parents are better at raising kids. "China Rush Season II," a Chinese version of "The Amazing Race," won for Best Adaptation of an Existing Format. ICS also won the Cable and Satellite Channel of the Year.
