‘Ice’ found in shoes

SHANGHAI Customs officers who noticed a suspicious object in an X-ray of an export batch of shoes on June 3, opened it and discovered at the bottoms of the shoes bags of crystalline objects, which were identified as smokable methamphetamine — or “ice.”
This is the 17th ice seizure in the delivery area by customs since June last year, authorities said.
