Illegal gas dealers detained

THREE people have been detained on suspicion of producing and selling liquefied natural gas without a license, police said yesterday.
The suspects were apprehended last month after a truck was spotted delivering gas cylinders to a store in Jinshan District. Police later raided three workshops in the district where they found 194 gas cylinders and related paraphernalia. The three are suspected of making 3 million yuan (US$480,000) from the operation.
