A MAN who set fire to a wrong flat in a revenge attack on his girlfriend has been jailed for three-and-a-half years for arson, the Baoshan District People’s Court said yesterday.
Lu Xiaolei has wanted to threaten his girlfriend surnamed Li, who left him last October, accusing him of violent abuse, but torched her neighbor’s house by mistake.
On October 11, he traced he tracked her down to her home on the first floor of a residential complex, wrote on the corridor wall threatening to kill her family and set fire to he neighbor’s screen window.
