JING’AN District is blending online and offline government with the launch of the city’s first big-data backed authority.
The Jing’an Government Data Management Center, a new department, incorporates a big data pool, with statistics collected from different departments.
It is a complement to the district’s administrative service center, creating an online-offline service platform. It also acts as a coordinator for different departments.
Start-ups used to need to go to different departments to learn rules and prepare documents. Now, they can read every detail on the online platform and apply online. They will then get a call from the administrative service center and go to submit required documents.
