A strong cold front will lower the city’s temperature to below 10 degrees Celsius by the middle of this week, forecasters said.

A cold front is forecast to sweep through Shanghai today, but the high can still stay at yesterday’s 14 degrees. There may be some drizzle.

No rain is expected tomorrow, but the temperature will start to drop sharply, ranging from 5 to 9 degrees.

Thursday and Friday will be sunny, but cooler as the temperature is set to fall.

A light air pollution, likely this morning, may turn to moderate pollution. But strong wind will help to disperse pollutants by around noon. However, Friday will see another bout of pollution.
