Lin Senhao, a former Fudan University postgraduate student who was sentenced to death for poisoning his roommate, yesterday appealed against the verdict, the Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court said. The court found Lin, 28, guilty of killing Huang Yang last April by putting a toxic chemical into a water dispenser they shared.
