Kiwis' city ball to raise cash for quake victims

The Kiwi Expat Association is holding the Kiwi Ball on Saturday, April 2 at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo Hotel. It will include a charity banquet, produce selling and an auction.
The ball will benefit the families of victims of the 6.3-magnitude earthquake on February 22. At the end of last week, the death toll stood at 61, with hundreds missing.
All proceeds will go toward the New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Appeal, the KEA said.
Three levels of Friends of Christchurch sponsorship packages are available for the ball.
1. Christchurch Sponsor: 50,000 yuan (US$7,614), includes having the sponsor's name on event material, a commemorative plaque and one dinner table of 10.
2. Lyttelton Sponsor: 25,000 yuan, includes a commemorative plaque and one dinner table of 10.
