THE Shanghai Wildlife Park has performed a cesarean section on a ruffed lemur, picking up the dead cubs from her body and saving the mother's life. The three-year- old lemur, named Sam, was found pregnant at the end of last year, and was expected to give birth to cubs at the end of April. The cubs, however, suffered from malposition.
