Liu home reopens

THE former residence of Liu Changsheng (1903-1967), one of the earliest leaders of the Communist Party of China, has reopened after repairs and renovations.
The residence on Yuyuan Road was first opened in 2004. Jing’an District government has spent 8 million yuan (US$1.3 million) on renovations, with interactive facilities added. Liu lived there from 1946 to 1949.
