XUHUI District People's Court has handled 170 cases this year of graduates failing to repay student loans, court official said yesterday. The court is calling the education authorities to set up punishment system for those who broke the contract.
The national student loan requires students repay loans within six years of graduating. Local government paid the interest while the students were in university.
