Lucky escape for drunk man on track

A DRUNK man was taken away by police after lying down on Metro tracks yesterday evening.
Officers said that the man went onto the tracks at Line 3’s Caoyang Road Station at 6:40pm. A picture on Weibo microblog (below) showed him lying on the tracks. Police and staff took him away before a train came. He was not injured. The man was found to be drunk after tests. Investigations are continuing.
