Man accused of beating cop caught

A MAN accused of attacking a traffic cop this morning in the Pudong New Area has been caught by police, officials said.
The officer was sent to hospital, where he was found to have no serious injuries.
A video taken by a witness showed that the traffic officer was patrolling on a motorcycle when the attacker ran across the road and beat him at about 8:47am. The officer fell to the ground.
Pudong police said the suspect attack without cause and should be sent for a mental health evaluation.
