Man detained for molesting woman on Metro

The man who touched a female passenger indecently on a Metro train last week was given administrative detention, Metro police said today.
The 38-year-old man, surnamed Wang, deliberately touched a woman’s thighs twice on a Metro Line 9 train on June 29, according to police. He was detained for molestation.
The incident went public after a video clip taken by a witness was uploaded to weibo.com.
The victim did not report to police immediately.
Angry web users tracked down the man’s identity through a “human flesh search.”
Wang reportedly is an executive at a state-owned travel agency, and was said to have gone to the police station with his boss after his identity was exposed.
The woman reported to the police on Sunday.
