Man jailed for fake goods

A 45-YEAR-OLD man who sold counterfeit branded bags and watches in a shop at Science & Technology Museum Station on Metro Line 2 was sentenced to two years in jail, Shanghai Railway Intermediate People’s Court said yesterday. The branded goods include Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Vacheron Constantin, Cartier and Omega. The market prices of the original goods was more than 84 million yuan (US$13.4 million). Zhang Aimin’s shop was raided on July 28, 2013 and over 1,000 fake bags and 715 fake watches were seized from him.
