Man ‘killed over 100 yuan’

A MAN was fatally stabbed on Monday evening in Putuo District, reportedly in a gambling dispute over 100 yuan (US$16), xinmin.cn reported yesterday.
The incident happened near a building used for residential and commercial purposes. Residents said people were gambling on cricket fighting in front of the building.
“The money involved is only 100 yuan, but it took a man’s life,” said a witness. Police are investigating.
