A man, surnamed Wang, suspected of pouring alcohol on his wife, triggering a fire that severely burnt her, has been arrested for arson, according to prosecutors from Jiading District. They said that on September 24 Wang took four liters of alcohol and poured it over the floor, the bed and his wife. The alcohol is alleged to have then caught fire from contact with anti-mosquito incense.
