Man 鈥榯hrew bikes鈥 into river

SHANGHAI police have arrested a man for allegedly damaging rental bikes and throwing some of them into Huangpu River.
The man surnamed Su is alleged to have confessed to police that he had smashed up 20 Mobikes around the Bund area after ripping off their locks and throwing at least three of them into the river.
Police said the suspect had vandalized the bikes because he considered the bike rental scheme to be dangerous.
