MARRIAGE registration information in Shanghai, Beijing and Shaanxi Province has been linked up by civil affairs authorities, which means that residents of each area can draw their marriage certificates from either of the other two. This will also help prevent bigamy, officials said. The Ministry of Civil Affairs plans to link up marriage information nationwide.
