TAIWAN McDonald's edible oil meets food safety standards and contains no arsenic, Shanghai McDonald's said in a statement released on Saturday.
The Taipei government reported on Tuesday that it found arsenic in the oil at two McDonald's outlets. The statement said Taiwan McDonald's and suppliers sent samples for testing and no inorganic arsenic was detected.
