FOUR people were arrested for causing a traffic accident in May that damaged the Middle Ring Road, causing traffic chaos.
Li Jiada and Li Xingquan are accused of driving overloaded cargo trucks onto the elevated road. Zhao Baoshan of Shanghai Jianjing Logistics Co allegedly told the drivers to use the illegal route. Zou Liguo, the director of the company, was also arrested over his involvement. Trucks are banned from using the elevated road.
