Missing boy, 11, found in convenience store

AN 11-year-old boy who went missing after leaving home alone on August 8 was found safe by a cashier at a FamilyMart convenience store on Fanyu Road yesterday and reunited with his family.
Police said the boy, surnamed Qin, deliberately avoided surveillance cameras and slept in different places in Minhang, Xuhui and Changning districts while on the run. Shanghai Daily reported last week the boy had gone missing after being scolded by his father.
