A 13-year-old girl in Chuansha town in Pudong who went missing after school on Monday was found dead in the Sanxing River on Tuesday evening, police said in a statement yesterday.
A preliminary investigation showed that the girl, surnamed Hu, probably drowned. “Her clothes were not torn, and we found no traces of violence on her,” police said.
