AUTHORITIES plan to introduce more brand breakfast eateries near Metro stations.
“We found that small breakfast eateries are popular among residents, and we have relaxed the requirement of their minimum space to 20 square meters instead of 50,” said Wu Xingbao, deputy director of Shanghai Commerce Commission.
There are 697 licensed breakfast stalls in the city and most of them are at Metro stations, hospitals or residential complexes.
