Musical instruments fair held in city

ABOUT 1,900 companies from China and abroad are showing their products at Music China, known as one of the most reputable musical instruments fairs in Asia, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong New Area.
Besides traditional products, some intelligent instruments and applications developed to help teach children play music instruments are popular. One new ukulele teaching application, guiding children aged from 4 to 6 to learn rhythm and playing of the instrument via games, attracted hundreds of representatives from music training agencies.
The company said they had first tasted the success of application with an intelligent piano developed two years ago, which could not only instruct children techniques of playing, but also stimulate their interests with an application containing games played via the piano. And now they are targeting the market of the cheaper music instrument and teaching service. The exhibition will conclude Sunday afternoon.
