PASSENGERS can now pay their taxi fares via UnionPay — using bank cards, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Mi Pay — when traveling in 6,000 Qiangsheng Taxi Company vehicles displaying the UnionPay logo.
About 5,000 Dazhong taxis recently started offering a similar service. Other local taxi companies are working with third-party partners to provide multiple online payments in future.
