THE Shanghai Clinical Center for Monitoring Adverse Reactions to Drugs said it has not received any complaints of severe side effects from local children who took cold medicines.
Earlier this week, the United Kingdom-based Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency had warned that 69 common cough and cold remedies for children didn't work and could cause side effects.
