Parents abandon sick baby girl

A baby girl with a heart condition was abandoned by her parents in a village in Jinshan District. The police received a report at 5am on Tuesday about a baby girl being found near paddy fields in Luli Village in Jinshan’s Zhangye Town. A handwritten note placed beside her read: “Please call police and take the child to a welfare house.” With the infant were clothes, a package of milk powder and diapers. Police are searching for her parents.
