Parks draw 2m visitors

MORE than 2 million people visited 161 parks across the city during the New Year holiday, an increase of 50 percent from last year, authorities said yesterday. Park operators have stepped up security following the Bund tragedy, the Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau said.
