Passenger’s seizure halts Metro train

METRO line 2 ground to a halt yesterday evening after a passenger suffered a seizure.

The medical emergency happened on a Metro Line 2 train bound for Songhong Road Station at Loushanguan Road Station at 6:43pm.

The man was foaming at the month and shaking violently, a staffer at the station told Shanghai Daily.

The train was held for 10 minutes while paramedics at the station stabilized him.

An ambulance was called but the passenger refused to go to hospital and went home with his family, who said he had a history of epilepsy, the staffer said.
