Patent Dispute Over Device In iPhones

AN electronics company from Zhejiang Province yesterday accused a Shanghai-based company of infringing its patent on a lens drive device used in iPhones.
Ningbo Jinchengtai Electronic Co Ltd demanded Shanghai Shicoh Electronics Co Ltd destroy all products that infringe its patent and stop making such goods.
The defendant argued its technology was different from Ningbo Jinchengtai's patent and said the patent should be revoked because the device lacked innovation. The court didn't reach a verdict.
