DRIVERS who are ticketed by traffic police can now pay their fines immediately. Police yesterday launched a trial scheme in Chongming County, part of Xuhui District, and the city’s elevated roads, which allows them to accept certain types of ICBC credit cards issued to Shanghai driving license holders to settle fines. There are about 900,000 holders of such cards in the city.
