Pay off in-laws
A WOMAN was ordered by the Putuo District People's Court to pay her ex-husband's parents 2.1 million yuan (US$ 320,000) if she wants to own the apartment purchased by her, her ex-husband and the elderly couple.
Her in-laws can continue to live there until she pays, the court ruled. The woman asked the old couple to move out, claiming that the apartment was registered in her name and she should own the property after she divorced their son.
