THE Huashan Road pedestrian overpass partly reopened yesterday after two weeks of renovation work, according to the Metro operator.
Pedestrians can use four sets of stairs on the Yan’an Road side, but the other four sets on Huashan Road will remain closed due to ongoing work. The escalators on the Huashan Road side are being removed to make way for a planned Metro station. But new escalators will be built on the Yan’an Road side by the end of this year.
