LINE 9’s east extension has completed tests and is expected to begin operations before the end of this month. Some stations are using modern industrial-style furnishings for the first time, exposing pipes and cables on the ceilings. “This is an innovation in terms of decoration,” said Shi Lihong of the Metro Shensong Project.
