Poison kills 2 siblings

A 7-year-old boy and his 4-year-old sister died in hospital in Jiading District on Monday and medical staff believe they were poisoned.
The children were taken to Shanghai Children’s Hospital by their parents early on Monday morning after they began vomiting and complaining of stomach aches, and were immediately treated in the ICU, where intravenous drips were administered.
They appeared to be recovering, but the girl started to vomit again at lunch on Monday and the boy started to vomit very hard around midnight, their father, a migrant worker surnamed Zhou, told Xinmin Evening News.
The boy died at about 6am and the girl died at 4pm the same day.
Police are investigating.
