Police cars overturned

A 50-YEAR-OLD man, angry over the demolition of his illegal construction on a sidewalk, drove a forklift and damaged two police cars in Pudong.
The man who has mental problems has been detained. No one was injured.
The man, surnamed Ma, had built an illegal construction on a sidewalk. At 1:30pm on Tuesday, law enforcement authorities arrived to demolish it. An angry Ma drove a forklift, which he had stolen from his former employer.
He first forklifted an empty police car parked by the side of the road, damaging it and shocking passers-by.
When the policemen in the second car got out to stop him from rampaging through, he drove towards their car and upturned it. Strangely, Ma still managed to get away but was caught soon after.
