Police investigate ‘suicide’

POLICE are investigating the probable suicide of an elderly man whose body was found on the ground near the IAPM shopping mall on Huaihai Road yesterday morning. Police said they found a suicide note in the man’s pocket saying he wanted to die as he was tired of coping with a prolonged illness. An investigation is under way.
